The weather is still looking good in for most of the countries in the Asia Pacific. There are some parts of the Philippines that experience light to moderate rains especially in parts of Visayas and Mindanao but those rains would be brief. Luzon would experience partly cloudy skies with some scattered rain showers.
Update on 27W Ma-on
The JMA has now downgraded Ma-on to a tropical depression and expects it to linger that way for the next 24 hours and would then dissipate in the next 48 hours.

Update on Tropical Depression 28W
28W located 9.0N 157.4E still lingers and may continue on its westward to west north west track for the next 5 days. There is a low chance that the system will dissipate within one to two days while there is a moderate chance of intensification.
The latest global models show one forecast making landfall over Norther Luzon while 2 forecasts show it dissipating over open water.
